HPE Synergy

And, another thing we’ve been working on…the world’s first truly composable infrastructure.  I have a tiny piece of this big pie and it tastes delicious.

We have an incredibly talented team who is working together to bring to market purely software defined resources for IT.

Here’s a 2 minute breakdown of HPE Synergy.

Hewlett-Packard IT

I work for HP now.  And, I’m no longer in product management.  In fact, I’m in a whole new world…IT!

In my career, I’ve sold to high-tech organizations, built software products intended to solve IT’s problems, and even been certified in ITIL v3 (IT best practices).  But, I’ve never worked in IT.  I’ve never felt the pain of an IT professional.

Well, now I can say that I’ve walked in IT’s shoes.  Sometimes, I want to give them back and run, barefoot, the other direction.  😉  But, I will persevere.  Partly because I need to have this experience on my resume.  Partly because the problems IT organizations have are pretty hefty and sometimes impossible.

It’s a good thing that I like impossible.
